A cooler week with a chance of rain is ahead, so say goodbye to warmer temperatures as we begin to cool today, with highs in the 60s.
By Tuesday, temperatures will cool down to the 50s, and there's a 40 percent chance of rain on Wednesday in the Inland Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
The clouds and cooler temperatures, with unsettled air at times, could even bring a slight chance of showers until Friday.
Ajax Wednesday will be the coolest day, but Thursday and Friday are not expected to be much warmer.
Higher elevations will see a 40 percent chance of snow showers beginning Wednesday, with the snow level at 8,400 feet, lowering to 5,300 feet.
A chance of rain showers is expected in the High Desert area beginning late Tuesday night and early Wednesday.
Saturday is expected to be sunny in all areas.
